AuditPrepared uses two public product types. Technical characteristics such as browser access, local processing, offline capability and dependencies remain specific to each product.

Commercial type is not the same as technical implementation
The catalogue identifies how a product is accessed or licensed. Each product page defines its technology, data flow, requirements and support.
Paid Self-Hosted Tool
Operated in the customer environment
- Delivered under a product-specific licence.
- The customer deploys and operates the product.
- Requirements, updates and support vary by product.
- Operational responsibilities are defined for each product.
Technical characteristics
A self-hosted product may use different technology
Depending on the named product, a package may run as a local HTML application, use JavaScript, require Python, run on an internal server, use a database, be browser-accessed, support offline use or require configuration. These are technical characteristics, not separate product categories.
Customer responsibilities
Operating the deployed instance
Self-hosted means the customer deploys and operates the licensed product in its own supported environment. It does not automatically mean zero installation, offline operation or unlimited support.
- Confirm the supported environment and dependencies
- Install and configure the licensed package
- Operate access controls and security settings
- Manage backups, availability and data location
- Apply updates using the stated product method
- Work within the licence and support boundary
AuditPrepared responsibilities
Define the product boundary before sale
For each available paid product, AuditPrepared must state the package, supported environment, installation steps, dependencies, update method, licence scope, data-handling model and included support. No paid product currently meets the publication gate for purchase.
